Your MS in Technological Entrepreneurship Path

Your Graduate Certificate in Technological Entrepreneurship is a great first step. A master’s degree program can deepen your knowledge, further strengthen your resume, and demonstrate additional value to employers.

Once you have successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Technological Entrepreneurship, and have applied and been accepted to the MS in Technological Entrepreneurship, then the credits you’ve earned during your certificate program will apply. Not only that, but your performance in the courses can make you eligible to waive the GRE/GMAT requirement. Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3 and a “B” or better in each of your certificate classes, and we will waive the GRE/GMAT requirement as part of your application.*

*Northeastern has a test-optional policy for the 2021-2022 academic year and does not require a GMAT or GRE score to complete an application for admission. Under the new policy, you can decide whether to submit a GMAT or GRE score as part of your admission application. For more information, review our admissions policies.

Apply Your Credits to a Master’s Degree

Through successful completion of your Graduate Certificate in Technological Entrepreneurship, you will earn 12-15 credits that may be applied to eligible master’s programs, both within D’Amore-McKim School of Business or in the College of Professional Studies. Upon acceptance to one of the degree programs listed below, you may be able to apply the credits you have already earned toward the completion of your degree.

Eligible master’s programs are offered online, as well as in Boston, Charlotte, Seattle, Toronto, and Silicon Valley. Location options vary by degree program.

International students complete online programs remotely from their home country. Northeastern’s vibrant and interactive online classrooms are a great way to continue your American business education from anywhere in the world.

International students who successfully complete a year-long program on campus become eligible to apply for OPT work authorization in the U.S. for up to 12 months.

Eligible Master’s Degrees at D’Amore-McKim School of Business

Students who have successfully completed a Graduate Certificate in Technological Entrepreneurship with a GPA of 3.0 or above may apply their credits towards an eligible master’s degree. Please note that completion of the certificate program does not guarantee admission into an MBA program.
