In the MS x: Strategic Technology Leadership program, you'll participate in three dynamic in-person residencies, each four days long and held on Northeastern campuses in Boston and London. The chance to meet in person with colleagues, faculty, and industry experts is one of the most popular components of this program.

The residencies offer a rare opportunity to explore topics critical to gaining a competitive edge in a changing landscape—in a highly interactive, summit-like environment with other engaged professionals and some of the world's foremost technology thought leaders.

During each residency, you'll give an oral defense for a phase of your business plan to a panel of faculty and executives who will challenge you, offer constructive feedback, and help you refine your work. You can choose Boston or London for the first two residencies and attend the third in Boston with your entire cohort.

Each residency dives deep into a single issue relevant to your challenges as a business leader:

  • The Strategic Disruption Residency addresses market dynamics and planning for investment in new technologies.
  • The Innovation Leaders Studio examines the challenges of implementing new products and services.
  • The Executive Operations Summit explores managing operations for a technology-driven organization, including risk management, quality control, and IT support systems.

Coming together in these global residencies makes a powerful impact on each student. We'll explore issues shaping your ability to lead and up-to-the-minute perspectives you can't get anywhere else. You'll meet incredible technology thought leaders and network with your cohort, starting your coursework here together and then dispersing across the globe. You'll get pure and constructive honesty on your master's business plan from leading executives meant to help you grow into a C-level role. Each residency will change the way you think.
