Career Services: Support For Your Continued Growth
Our MS in Taxation program will not only provide you with the knowledge base and skills you need in order to be successful in accounting, but it will also provide you with a strong network that will enable you to grow and develop your career. The timing of the program enables candidates to work during the busy season when tax professionals are in demand.
The majority of MS in Taxation students either work full-time or have job offers contingent on completing their degree. These students are welcome to visit with an advisor or faculty member to review career options, refine their resumes, make alumni connections, and gain insight into career advancement.
Students who enter the program without existing job offers receive assistance in their career search. Advisors are available to meet with candidates to better understand their aspirations, critique and circulate resumes to surrounding firms and hiring agencies, and conduct mock interviews. Faculty referrals and career guidance are also available.
Northeastern University’s Graduate School of Professional Accounting provides valuable career resources to its students. We can help you to make the most out of your professional opportunities with services including:

- Professional workshops
- Mock interviews
- Networking events
- Access to Northeastern’s Office of Career Development
