Graduate Career Center
Offering students a solid pathway to expand their networks and identify new career opportunities.
Our MS in Finance program will not only strengthen your network; it will help you develop the skills needed to propel you to the next level.
As a full-time student you will have the opportunity to take a Career Management Course, taught by our Graduate Career Center staff. This course will introduce you to a U.S. job search including job search strategy, elevator pitches, resumes, cover letters, LinkedIn profiles, and interviewing. Employers and alumni from outside the university will be guest speakers and offer networking opportunities.
You’ll be paired with a career advisor to work directly with you throughout the program.
Part-time and Online Students
During the first half of your part-time graduate program the Graduate Career Center will provide access to valuable online career resources to improve your resume, refine your interview techniques, and hone career-accelerating skills.
Once you have completed the first half of your program, you will have developed your business skills and knowledge due to your participation in our MS in Finance program. Recognizing your professional growth, the full services of the Graduate Career Center will become available to you. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with a career advisor to guide you through your personalized career management plan. You will define your career goals, learn how to leverage your network, and design and implement a job search strategy that will guide you to the next step in your career.
This timing is important as employers typically look for candidates who have completed or are very close to completing their master’s degree.
