Choosing the LLM/MBA program through the Northeastern University School of Law and the D'Amore-McKim School of Business is just the first step in personalizing your education and advancing your career. In these dual degree programs, you'll spend your first year in courses at D'Amore-McKim and choose either two MBA concentrations. The following summer, you'll pursue specialized law coursework, choosing from a long list of focus areas including environmental law, intellectual property, and nonprofit law. You'll complete these courses before moving on to a law co-op, if you choose, and finishing your business classes.

You'll choose up to two concentrations to specialize your path based on your goals. Select from our in-demand business-focused concentrations, or opt to earn one business concentration and one MBA x interdisciplinary concentration from a partner college at Northeastern.

Our LLM/MBA program prepares you for leadership at the intersection of law and business. You'll choose from a range of electives in law and business to deepen your expertise in areas that align with your career goals. With the ability to count up to 12 credits toward both degrees, the program is both efficient and flexible. Northeastern's Office of Global Services provides the expertise and support you need to maintain compliance through your immigration, academic journey, and employment experiences—including any Curricular Practical Training deemed necessary or integral to your academic program and Pre-Completion and Post-Completion Optional Practical Training work authorization.

Yes. International students must meet additional requirements, including proof of English language proficiency, a valid passport, and English translations of academic transcripts. Our international graduate students page provides more information about applying and the benefits of choosing D'Amore-McKim. 

Yes. International students in F-1 immigration status are eligible for a corporate residency using Curricular Practical Training authorization. When you complete your program, you may become eligible to apply for Optional Practical Training (OPT), which, if granted, allows you to work in the United States for up to 12 months. We encourage you to work closely with your career advisor and an advisor in the Office of Global Services.

Northeastern University's D'Amore-McKim School of Business is currently test-optional and does not require applicants to submit GRE or GMAT scores.
