Yi Yin is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Marketing at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Yi holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Texas at San Antonio, an MBA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and a BS in Economics from Xiamen University. Yi's research focuses on marketing strategy. She uses empirical modeling and machine learning to study topics in digital marketing, advertising, and marketing-finance interface. Yi has taught Marketing Research and Principles of Marketing at undergraduate level and now is teaching Data Science Programming Practicum in Business.
