The Center for Emerging Markets at Northeastern University hosted the 6th Annual Greater Boston Corporate Governance Workshop, attracting 32 attendees from 14 institutions. Organized by CEM Faculty Fellows Ruth Aguilera and Kevin Chuah, the event featured discussions on R&D management, public-private partnerships, regulatory impacts, proxy voting, and corporate emissions accountability, showcasing cutting-edge research and faculty expertise.

Ruth V. Aguilera, an acclaimed professor at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, was honored Wednesday at a Northeastern event that celebrated scholarly support and excellence.

Ruth V. Aguilera was recently elected as an Academy of Management (AOM) fellow. Since she is also a fellow of both the Strategic Management Society (SMS) and the Academy of International Business (AIB), she has earned entrance into what she calls the “Triple Crown” – an exclusive group of professionals who have made a mark in the domains of strategy, international business, and management.

D'Amore-McKim Professor Ruth V. Aguilera is featured in the first episode of the IM Global Podcast.

With the addition of Professor Paula Caligiuri to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business has the highest concentration of AIB Fellows at one academic institution.

Ruth V. Aguilera's research, teaching, and service efforts are significant and have attracted worldwide acclaim. In 2016 she was named a Fellow to the Academy of International Business (AIB), and in 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow to the Strategic Management Society (SMS).

D'Amore-McKim is pleased to congratulate Ruth V. Aguilera, Distinguished Professor in International Business and Strategy, on her recent induction as Fellow to the Strategic Management Society (SMS).

With the addition of Professors Ruth V. Aguilera and Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra to the Academy of International Business' select fellowship ranks, D'Amore-McKim School of Business now stands as one of only five institutions featuring three or more AIB fellows worldwide.

When business leaders and Northeastern University alumni Richard D'Amore and Alan McKim joined forces to make a historic investment of $60 million to their former school, they ignited a transformation that led to much more than a name change.
