Marissa Rodriguez is an Assistant Director in the office of Corporate and Professional Learning at Northeastern University’s D'Amore-McKim School of Business. With a commitment to lifelong learning, interest in technology, and passion for empowering learners, Marissa currently devotes much of her professional life to instructional design and supporting the creation of innovative experiential learning opportunities.

Marissa comes to Northeastern with over 15 years of experience in the social impact sector, working with organizations such as City Year, United Way, Boston Public Schools, and College for Social Innovation. During her time in the social sector, she continually sought out multi-faceted roles that enabled a diverse evolution of her professional practice in areas such as direct service and instruction, operations and project management, organizational leadership, educational technology integration, and strategic partnership building. Marissa received a B.A. in Letters, Arts, and Sciences from Penn State University and an M.Ed. with a concentration on eLearning & Instructional Design from Northeastern University.

Marissa believes that creating transformative learning experiences is both an art and a science, and approaches all projects focused on connecting theory and practice to prepare professionals to uniquely contribute to the 21st century workplace. She is excited to bring her robust skillset to the Assistant Director role with the aim of supporting clients and faculty to create innovative and transformative learning experiences
