Dan Cohen, faculty affiliate with the DATA Initiative at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business, studies the impact of digital media and technology on knowledge and learning. He serves as Vice Provost for Information Collaboration and Dean of Libraries at Northeastern University. He is also a professor of history at the university's College of Social Sciences and Humanities. His work examines, among other topics, the nature of libraries and their evolving resources; twenty-first century research techniques and software tools; and the changing landscape of communication and publication.
