P.A.C. Mentorship Program

Affinity-Based Peer Mentorship Program for Incoming First-Year Students

The P.A.C. Program immerses first-year students in the D'Amore-McKim community by introducing them to their peers, faculty, and staff. Connecting students to the relevant campus resources and people, the P.A.C. Program aides first-year student social and emotional well-being during their transition into college by providing individualized support and fostering a sense of belonging and inclusivity at D'Amore-McKim.

Student Leadership Council

Student-Led Council for D'Amore-McKim Student Clubs and Organizations

The D'Amore-McKim Student Leadership Council (SLC) is a platform for leaders of student organizations to share information, collaborate, share best practices, and voice challenges and concerns. There are currently about 30 student leaders representing roughly 25 student organizations actively engaged in bi-weekly meetings through the summer. If your student organization is not currently represented in the SLC and you are interested in joining the Council, please contact Kayla McEwen at ka.mcewen@northeastern.edu.

First-year Student Support

  • Mentorship: The Peer Affinity Cohort (P.A.C.) Program is our signature first-year student mentorship program. If you are not part of the PAC Program but are still interested in connecting with an upperclassmen mentor, please reach out to any of our P.A.C. Ambassadors via email or LinkedIn! PAC Ambassadors are upperclassmen who served as PAC leaders in previous semesters, and have remained involved to continue to support first-year students on an as-needed basis. You can reach out to a PAC Ambassador to discuss: academic exploration, navigating Northeastern, how to get involved, global experiences, co-op preparation (resume/linked in support, etc.), or anything that comes to mind!
  • Programming: OSEAI supports students in their journey through D'Amore-McKim, with a particular focus on helping first-year students build a foundation for success through our Personal and Professional Development Program. Students will have the opportunity to engage with faculty, staff, alumni, and peers in the D'Amore-McKim community and participate in workshops that focus on academic exploration, career education, career preparation, and personal wellness. All students are welcome to attend regardless of class year! You can check out the programming line-up for Spring 2021 here.
  • Resources: The OSEAI team has put together a comprehensive First-Year Student Resource Guide to help you navigate your first-year in D'Amore-McKim! The guide provides a wide variety of information including Navigating Northeastern, connecting with upperclassmen, academic exploration, campus resources, how to get involved, and professional development.
