Encouraged by classmates' praise for her sleek outfits and a retail market hole she noticed abroad, Caroline-Christine Wilhelm, DMSB'10, launched Copé Active in July to bring the colorful active-wear leggings and tops of New York across to her native Europe.

“Think runway for the gym,” she told news@Northeastern in a phone interview from London.

Wilhelm credits her success in large part to Northeastern's brand and the support and real-world experiences she garnered during her undergraduate years.

 “We weren't just looking at old case studies,” she said. “The co-op experience was incorporated in every class.”
