The Center for Emerging Markets is supported by a generous gift from Venkat and Pratima Srinivasan that allows Northeastern University students to pursue innovative projects that addresses pressing problems in emerging markets. This fall, CEM awarded seven grants to students to pursue projects around the world.

After realizing there wasn't a student org combining entrepreneurship and sustainability, Izabella Pivo, DMSB'25, and Rohan Surana, DMSB'25 brought the Hult Prize competition to Northeastern. The program asks students to pitch startup ideas around a sustainable development goal, this year's theme was sustainable fashion. 

The first meeting of industry leaders and regional influencers in New York marked the beginning of a national strategy to deepen alumni engagement and expand D'Amore-McKim's sphere of influence in key regions.
