The 2020 Husky Startup Challenge celebrated the entrepreneurial endeavors of our Northeastern community during an unprecedented time. During the event, a dozen ventures competed against one another for cash prizes and the approval of D'Amore-McKim judges including Steve Golden, Kate Murdock, DMSB'18, and Greg Skloot, DMSB'12.

Akos Boateng, DMSB'22, and Erin Cowden, CSSH'21, are two of over 40 students sharing PPE and health tips with fellow community members during the COVID-19 pandemic. Student health advocates have distributed more than 6,000 masks and silver-plated adhesive hooks to hang the masks from, as well as 4,500 bottles of Northeastern-branded sanitizer.

Victoria Pacheco, DMSB'22, and Madeline O'Hara, DMSB'21, are the president and vice president of marketing for the Council of University Programs respectively. These D'Amore-McKim students have led the way as CUP has revamped itself to adapt to hosting virtual events for the Northeastern community.
