Professor Koen Pauwels explains how lean startup methodology can alleviate potential big data complications.

Seema and Suraj Korumilli co-founded Literacy Movement 4 More in 2013, a nonprofit aimed at promoting literacy through the creation of libraries and the donation of laptops and other school supplies. With a goal of “changing lives one library at a time,” the two have since opened seven libraries around the world.

Northeastern University's Student-Run Venture Accelerator, IDEA, was recently named a Bostinno 50 on Fire winner at the media company's annual event. Four winners, including IDEA, were selected out of the 14 nominees in the education arena.

Adam Jackowitz, DMSB'10, co-founded The Fetch My Pet iPhone app, a digital platform that pet owners can use to care for their animals. He notes that his time at the D'Amore-McKim School of Business helped shape some of his business decisions.

Mary Fernandes, DMSB'83, reflects on her time at D'Amore-McKim and how it shaped her career. Fernandes is an entrepreneur and owner of Vermajé Tea Co., a startup tea and teaware company for those seeking calm and relaxation.

Johnny Fayad and Ali Kothari, both DMSB'17, recently came in second place at e-Fest, the largest undergraduate entrepreneurship competition, for their business Eat Your Coffee. The co-founders were awarded $50,000 cash, in addition to a $5,000 award for D'Amore-McKim's entrepreneurship programs.
