On Thursday, May 12th, the D'Amore-MckIm School of Business Undergraduate Graduation Celebration was hosted at Matthews Arena to recognize and celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2022. The undergraduate commencement ceremony was held at Fenway Park on the following day, Friday, May 13th.

The celebration started off with remarks from Interim Dean Emery Trahan, who shared words of encouragement and congratulations.

The D'Amore-McKim Graduation Celebration student speaker, Khailiah Griffin, DMSB'22, then took the stage. Khailah Griffin adressed the Class of 2022 with an assuring, hopeful message.

Following Griffin's speech, graduates were recognized for the various, presitgous awards they earned over the year. A few highlights include: three D'Amore-McKim seniors awarded Compass Awards, twelve D'Amore-McKim seniors named to the Huntington 100 list, Amanda Brea, DMSB'22 recieved a Fulbright Scholarship, and Arlen Agiliga, DMSB'22 was awarded the Schwarzman Scholarship.

In addition to the student awards, Daniele Mathras, associate teaching professor of marketing, was recognized for receiving the Excellence in Teaching Award. Mathras was recommended by her students for this university-wide award. She also recieved the D'Amore-McKim School of Business Undergraduate Best Teacher award, the first in school history to win both the university-wide and school-wide teaching awards.

At the conclusion of the celebration, students and their guests met up in Krentzman Quad for photos. Krentzman Quad was brought to life with the gargantuan “2022” numbers and was bustling with energy and celebration.

On Thursday, May 26th, Olympic gold medalist and D'Amore-McKim alumna Madison Mailey provided words of inspiration to graduates at the Commencement ceremony for Northeastern University-Toronto.
