On Thursday May 12, the D'Amore-McKim School of Business hosted a graduate celebration reception at Matthews Arena. The room was filled with decorative backdrops, school pride, and high spirits amongst the graduates and their guests.

The event featured words of congratulations from Interim Dean Emery Trahan and Board of Trustees Member Alan McKim.

The celebration continued with, Associate Professor, Marla Bakserville, being awarded the D'Amore-McKim Graduate Teacher of the Year Award. Baskerville was nominated by her students for this recognition.

Commencement day arrives!

Festivities continued with the graduate commencement cermony taking place the next day, Friday, May 13. The graduate commencement student speaker was Aniyah Smith, MBA'22. Aniyah is the founder and CEO of Push Beauty, a venture she debeuted at the Husky Startup Challenge. Aniyah addressed her classmates, sharing words of encouragement and affirmation.
