Northeastern University's student-run business accelerator, IDEA, connects students with the resources they need to get their businesses up and running. Dan Gregory, who was the founding faculty advisor of IDEA, had no idea how popular it would become.

Northeastern University's Student-Run Venture Accelerator, IDEA, was recently named a Bostinno 50 on Fire winner at the media company's annual event. Four winners, including IDEA, were selected out of the 14 nominees in the education arena.

Neel Desai, recently named CEO of IDEA, is one of 26 students studying business and entrepreneurship this summer in India as part of Northeastern's “Dialogue of Civilizations” series.

the first-ever FinHacks—hosted by Disrupt in collaboration with IDEA: Northeastern University's Venture Accelerator—showcased the exciting future of finance and innovation.

At the close of the Spring 2024 semester, CEM recognized five students as new Student Associates, representing three different Northeastern University colleges and schools. These students, all with a demonstrated passion for futhering their understanding of emerging markets, will join six other undergraduate students recognized as Student Associates in the Fall 2023 semester to help shape CEM programming, perform research with CEM Faculty Fellows, and grow CEM's student outreach efforts in the 2024-2025 school year.

Co-led by professors Amir Grinstein and Daniele Mathras of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business as part of a partnership with tech accelerator 50:50 Startups, Bridging Conflicts pairs Northeastern students with startups that are co-founded by Israeli and Palestinian entrepreneurs.

Twenty-two is the lucky number for recipients of the 2022 Innovator Awards, given out by the Northeastern's Women Who Empower platform. A panel of judges selected 22 female honorees, who will receive a total of $220,000 in cash prizes, with first-place winners taking home $22,000 each in the award program's second year.
