Aggarwal"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rajesh K. Aggarwal is Interim Dean of the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University and a Professor of Finance. In his leadership role, he guides the school's academic vision and strategic priorities while continuing his distinguished record of research, teaching, and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aggarwal's research addresses critical areas of corporate finance, including corporate governance, executive compensation and incentives, the economics of organizations, initial public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, hedge fund performance, and market manipulation. His work has appeared in leading academic journals, including the <em>Journal of Finance<\/em>, <em>Journal of Financial Economics<\/em>, and the <em>Journal of Political Economy<\/em>, and is widely cited for its rigor and real-world relevance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">His scholarship and service to the field have earned significant recognition. He has received the Graham &amp; Dodd Scroll Award from the <em>Financial Analysts Journal<\/em> for outstanding investment research and the Distinguished Referee Award from the <em>Review of Financial Studies<\/em> in recognition of exceptional contributions to the peer-review process. He has also been honored for excellence in teaching, including being named Teacher of the Year at the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Aggarwal holds a PhD and MA in Business Economics from Harvard University and a BA in Economics from Yale University. Prior to joining Northeastern University, he held faculty appointments at leading institutions, including the University of Minnesota, the University of Virginia, the University of Michigan, the University of Oxford, and Dartmouth College. He also brings a valuable external perspective through his service as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors of Medica Health Plans and through consulting work with firms and government agencies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Aggarwal studies how incentives and competition shape managerial behavior and corporate strategy.
