About Frank D'Souza

Frank D'Souza is a Co-Founder & Managing Partner of Recognize. Prior to Recognize, Frank co-founded Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ: CTSH), a global multinational technology services company in 1994, and served as Cognizant's CEO from January 2007 through March 2019 and Vice Chairman of the board from 2018 until 2020. In addition to his tenure as CEO, Frank served as President from 2007 to 2012 and held a variety of senior management positions, including COO from 2003 to 2006. Frank received an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon Tepper School of Business and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Macau. 

Frank currently serves as Chairman of the Board of Ciklum and a director of MongoDB, a software company that offers a modern general-purpose database platform. 

About the Vivek and Vandana Sharma India Initiative

The Vivek and Vandana Sharma India Initiative supports programming to expand and deepen Northeastern University's engagement with economic and business issues in India. It supports CEM's India Lecture series, enables scholars, students, and practitioners from India to complete visiting terms at the CEM, encourages D'Amore-McKim and CEM faculty to conduct use-inspired research in India, and creates a community of business leaders in the U.S. and India with a special interest in American-Indian economic ties.
