Call for Papers
Following the success of our past conferences, the Faculty in the Finance Group of Northeastern University’s D’Amore-McKim School of Business are pleased to invite submissions from all areas of finance to be considered for presentation at the 2022 Northeastern University Finance Conference. The conference will be held at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business and will start at noon on Friday May 20th and end at 5 PM on Saturday May 21st. There will be an evening conference reception on Friday, May 20th.
We encourage both theoretical and empirical contributions and seek papers that have not previously been presented at other conferences. All papers will be reviewed by our Finance faculty. We typically select papers written by those at an early stage of their career, and then choose more senior researchers as discussants. The final program will consist of about eight papers. The deadline for submissions is Monday, December 6, 2021. We will notify authors of accepted papers by mid-February 2022.
For visitors, Northeastern University’s COVID-19 compliance protocol states that:
“Visitors who are on campus for a period longer than one day, including nonconsecutive days, must perform a wellness assessment as provided by the university prior to their campus visit. Visitors in this category must also attest to their vaccination status or confirmation of a negative PCR or viral antigen COVID test within 72 hours of their scheduled visit. These visitors must confirm their name, contact information, location, and reason for their visit using the Visitor Registration Form.”

We will pay for:
- domestic economy airfare up to $500;
- up to two nights stay at the conference hotel; and
- conference meals and the conference reception for paper presenters and discussants.
Submitting a Paper
First, pay the submission fee of $75, where you will receive a receipt for your payment. Then, send this receipt (as a PDF file) and your paper (also a PDF file) by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please submit only one paper per presenting author.
In March 2022, we will contact invited participants with details on the program and travel logistics.
