The fund was established in 2022 through a gift from Venkat and Pratima Srinivasan. Awards typically range from $1,000 to $3,000, with larger requests considered case by case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications open twice a year, in fall and spring. The fund has supported an wide range of work: public health field research, climate and energy studies, medtech startups, academic conferences, and community-based social projects, spanning nearly Innospark Ventures, which invests in founders using advanced AI to create disruptive impact on the economy and society. He previously founded and led Rage Frameworks, an AI-based company later acquired by Genpact, and before that founded eCredit.com, a leading provider of credit and receivables management solutions for business commerce. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of Cincinnati and spent time early in his career as an Associate Professor of Finance at Northeastern's Graduate School of Business, before founding eCredit.com in 1993.
