Business is global, and whether you plan to work in the U.S. or abroad, gaining an understanding of different cultures and business environments is an integral part of your Northeastern education. The D'Amore-McKim School of Business encourages its students to take advantage of these global educational experiences. Students have the option to both study abroad and to engage in an international cooperative work placement.
Students are able to study at a variety of universities across the globe through Northeastern's study abroad programs. Students may choose from a number of programs, including: semester programs, summer programs, first-year programs, faculty-led programs, and business-focused programs designed specifically with D'Amore-McKim School of Business students in mind. These options range from classroom study and field trips in cosmopolitan cities to field research and volunteer projects in developing economies.
Students are encouraged to begin talking early on with their academic and co-op advsors so they are able to plan their coursework and take full advantage of the study abroad opportunities. Additionally, all D'Amore-McKim School of Business students must meet with their Academic Advisor to have their study abroad course selections approved prior to departure.
Students interested in participating in international co-op should speak with their co-op coordinator and visit the International Co-op website here.
To view the various study abroad options, please visit the Office of International Study Programs (OISP) website here.
To discuss and explore options for your study abroad experience, please contact your Academic Advisor to set up an appointment.
