Marysharon Owens is a Northeastern University graduate who began her career at Microsoft Corporation after completing her senior year co-op with the company. During her 5 year tenure with Microsoft Marysharon worked primarily on start-up teams and delivered the first version of Microsoft Application Virtualization to the global marketplace in 2008. Marysharon is currently working on the Technical Services Strategy & Innovation team at Target Corporation. Before joining Target Marysharon was a Project Manager at American Well and delivered the first version of Online Care to the continental US for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota. Online Care is a web application that allows patients to talk to their physicians online via chat, phone and live streaming video.
Sam Klar is an analyst within GMO’s global quantitative equity team. Prior to joining full-time in 2006, he held a co-op position at GMO with the Emerging Markets group and also held co-op positions at GE and Oppenheimer. Mr. Klar earned his B.S. in Finance from Northeastern University in 2006 and was a member of the winning 2006 Beanpot team.
Mike Lake is a native of Melrose, MA and graduated from Northeastern University with degrees in Finance, Political Science, Communications, Entrepreneurship and Management Information Systems. Since then Mike has dedicated himself to public service, managing the White House as Special Assistant for Operations under Bill Clinton, raising a record $5.8 million for United Way of Massachusetts and serving as the Executive Director of the World Class Cities Partnership at Northeastern University. He is currently running for Massachusetts State Auditor.
Dan Belcher currently serves as the Director of Product Marketing at Sonian, Inc. and as the Scholar Communications Director at Education First. Upon graduation from Northeastern University, Dan worked as a Project Manager at Microsoft Corporation and as the New England Consulting Practice Manager at VMware, Inc. before obtaining his MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. Dan is a proud alumni of the Beanpot team.
