GLAC-IGIM Global Change Symposium

San Jose State University

The Global Leadership Advancement Center (GLAC) at San Jose State University held its second annual research symposium on February 24-25, 2009 in conjunction with the Institute for Global Innovation Management of Northeastern University. This symposium brought together renowned, multidisciplinary global scholars in an effort to further needed research in the field of global leadership.

This year’s meeting, co-sponsored by Dr. Joyce Osland (Lucas Endowed Professor of Global Leadership, SJSU and GLAC) and Dr. Harry Lane (Darla and Frederick Brodsky Trustee Professor of Global Business and IGIM Director) and Dr. Bert Spector of the IGIM, focused on managing change in global organizations.

A panel discussion with SJSU faculty and staff, moderated by Marlene Turner, was held toward the end of the symposium to allow a broader audience to meet these scholars and engage in a mutual exchange of ideas.
