MSA/MBA Graduating Class of 2011
In August of 2011, the members of the MSA/MBA graduating class of 2011 were successfully placed in full-time employment positions, allowing the program to continue its history of 100% job placement post graduation. Here is the list of recent graduates, and where they accepted full-time jobs.

MSA/MBA Graduating Class of 2012
In June 2011, 73 distinguished students joined the MSA/MBA Class of 2012. This year’s class represents 53 colleges and universities from the U.S. and abroad. Their undergraduate majors include art history, economics, political science, sociology, mathematics, theater, and anthropology. The new class is diverse in culture and professional backgrounds, with work experience ranging from less than one year to more than five years. We are happy to report that 100% of them have been placed on internship in Boston, New York City, Hartford, and San Francisco.
MSA Graduating Class of 2012
Also in June, 72 students joined the MS in Accounting program. These students represented juniors and seniors from Northeastern University and seniors from many undergraduate accounting programs throughout the region.
MS in Taxation program
Finally, thirty-three professionals joined the MS in Taxation program from a variety of public accounting firms in the Boston area. This group averaged 1 – 3 years of professional experience in the area of taxation. Overall, our graduate programs continue to attract the best and brightest from around the country and the world.
Alumni Efforts
We expanded alumni efforts in the GSPA this year. In May 2011, we hosted a successful alumni event with over 100 alumni present representing classes as far back as 1971. Plans are in progress for another alumni event in May of 2012.
Additionally, two advisory board members sponsored our first GSPA student hockey night. The event was a great success with more than 70 people in attendance. We plan to expand this event to a current student/alumni night at Matthews Arena. This will be a topic discussed at our next advisory council meeting. We will send out more information as we iron out the details.
We are excited about all of this upward momentum and look forward to working with more of you in the near future.
